## A simple building with ground floor and basement

<project: Estimation10>

The building that will be used to calculate the quantities and cost estimation is shown at the figure on the right.
It consists of a ground floor and a basement (with one shear wall) while its foundation consists of spread footings tied by connecting beams as well as one strip foundation. The following paragraphs present the detailed quantity estimate of materials such as concrete, formworks, spacers, reinforcements, the reinforcement schedules’ optimization as well as the total quantity and cost estimate of the structural frame.
