EXCAVATIONS and FOUNDATION LEVEL

The carpenter’s drawings show the geometry of the structural frame. Since they are closely related not only to the architectural but also to the structural design of the building, they are the outcome of the cooperation between the architect and the structural engineer.
The final design of the formwork includes accurate layouts and sections drawings and, if necessary, 3D drawings / figures. These drawings also include the necessary quantities of materials and labor.
The excavation drawings should be brought to the attention of the formwork’s assembling crew because any possible mistake in the excavations will have an impact on the formworks.
